  • Description: Responds to reports of suspected child abuse. Provides safety and protection for children who are at risk of, or are being abused, neglected, or exploited. Investigates, reports, and provides support to families and at-risk children. Provides temporary emergency shelter to the affected child. Offers free training to community mandated reporter on prevention and reporting of abuse and neglect.

    - Non-accidental physical injury of a child
    - Sexual abuse or exploitation of a child
    - Willful cruelty or unjustifiable punishment of a child
    - Neglect of a child, including failure to provide adequate food, clothing, shelter, medical care, or supervision
